VOLUNTEERS NEEDED — An American Cancer Society Relay For Life will be held from 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, until 6 a.m. Sunday, June 10, at the track at Clarence High School, 9625 Main St.

There will be a cancer survivor and caregiver luncheon at 1 p.m.

Back in March, during the middle of the budget process, the State Senate — working together with the governor and State Assembly — passed a major pension reform bill. As a result of the creation of a new Tier VI pension plan, state and local governments can expect to save $80 billion over 30 years.
