Project Description: The Department has made a tentative determination to approve an application for
full-depth reconstruction of Goodrich
Road from Black Creek to Tonawanda
Creek Road. Reconstruction of
Goodrich Road includes increasing
the pavement width from twenty-one
to twenty-two feet to twenty-eight feet
throughout the corridor, movement of
ditches to the edge of the highway
boundary, movement of utility poles
and a culvert replacement. A total of
0.14 acre of NYS Freshwater Wetland
CC-38 and 0.7 acre of its regulated
adjacent area will be impacted and
will be mitigated at a ratio of 1 to 1 in
nearby Freshwater Wetland WO-28
at Beeman Creek Park. Also, 1.47
acres of federal wetlands will be impacted. As a tentative determination,
the Department is seeking comments
on the proposed regulated activity
prior to making a final decision on
permit issuance. As such, this tentative determination does not signify
Department approval for or endorsement of an activity for which a permit
is sought.
Availability of Application Documents: Filed application documents,
and Department draft permits where
applicable, are available for inspection during normal business hours at
the address of the contact person. To
ensure timely service at the time of
inspection, it is recommended that an
appointment be made with the contact person.
State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination: Project
is an Unlisted Action and will not have
a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on
file. A coordinated review was not
performed.

(SHPA) Determination: The proposed
activity is not subject to review in
accordance with SHPA. The application type is exempt and/or the project
involves the continuation of an existing operational activity.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that

Central School District (the “District”)
shall hold a public hearing for the
purpose of presenting a proposed
District budget for the fiscal year July
1, 2017 through June 30, 2018, which

NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that the
annual meeting, election and vote
upon the appropriation of the necessary funds to meet the estimated
expenditures for the District for the
fiscal year July 1, 2017 through June
30, 2018 and upon certain other
propositions (the “Annual District
Meeting and Election”), will be held on
Tuesday, May 16, 2017, and that the
polls (for voting on the District budget,

be delivered personally to the voter).
No absentee voter’s ballot shall be
canvassed unless it shall have been

available for inspection in the office of

"District"), is hereby authorized to purchase school buses and similar vehicles for use in the transportation program of the District and to expend
therefor, including amounts for related
equipment, preliminary costs and
costs incidental thereto and to the
financing thereof, an estimated maximum aggregate amount not to exceed $825,000; and
(2) That a tax is hereby voted for
such purpose in an aggregate amount
of not to exceed $825,000, such tax to
be levied upon the taxable real property of the District and collected in
annual installments in such years and
in such amounts as may be determined by the Board of Education;
and
(3) That in anticipation of said tax,
bonds or other obligations of the District are hereby authorized to be issued in the aggregate principal
amount of not to exceed $825,000,
and a tax is hereby voted to pay the
interest on said bonds or other obligations as the same shall become due
and payable; and
(4) That New York State Transportation Aid funds expected to be
received by the District are anticipated to offset a substantial part of such
costs, and that such funds shall, to the
extent received, be applied to offset
and reduce the amount of taxes herein authorized to be levied.
