.I just want to say that I hope the Clarence Town officials step up to the plate and resume the summer brush pickup in town next year. Everyone is complaining, we’re trying to take care of our property, we have nowhere to put the brush but out at the street and it sits there all of the summer. This was a bad call on the part of the Highway Department or the town officials that I hope that we remedy this year so that we can keep our town streets nice and clean-looking like they’ve been for many years.

.On Sunday, Aug. 22, I was at Mass at Nativity Church and I noticed there was a lady in front of me who was not feeling well. Next thing I know, she collapsed. I started to dial 911 trying to get through and the next thing I knew, six members from Harris Hill Fire Company came through the door to her rescue. I was so impressed. I could not believe the response time with Harris Hill Fire Company. Great job. Thank you for your time and service.

.How is my son supposed to go to school to choose his locker if he doesn’t even has his schedule yet? Come on, Clarence High School, get on the ball. They expect our children to pick lockers and make decisions for the entire school year, but yet they can’t even get the schedules to the kids yet. We have to wait until the day before school starts to figure out what classes my son has and what teachers he has.
