Just for Girls

Clarence Youth Bureau’s Just for Girls program is for girls in grades four, five and six. All events will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Fridays at 10510 Main St., Clarence, unless otherwise indicated. Call 407-2162 for registration information. The deadline for registration and payment is Sept. 27.

Oct. 1 — Canvas Art will be created and participants will play games to get to know each other better.

Oct. 8 — Flower Power will involve making tie-dye shirts, as well as homemade tattoos and jewelry. T-shirts will be provided, but attendees can dress for the occasion and bring other small items they would like to tie-dye.

Oct. 15 — Survivor Island is designed to bring out ones’ adventurous side while overcoming obstacles and testing survival skills through a variety of games.

Oct. 29 — A costume party will offer music, cider, snacks, games, crafts and a costume contest.

Nov. 5 — A field trip to Clay Hands Pottery at 10086 Main St., will let the girls paint their own pottery creations.
