The Brothers of Mercy Campus Foundation will host the fifth annual Bavarian Fest between 6 and 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 10, on the campus, 4520 Ransom Road, Clarence. Tickets may be ordered by calling 759-7808 or online at www. BrothersOfMer cy. org/ events. php.

The evening will feature music for dancing and singing by the 20-member German-American Music Association and a traditional German feast. For those who prefer American fare, hot dogs and hamburgers will also be available. In addition, assorted German and domestic beers will be featured.

A silent auction and a 50/50 cash split raffle will be held throughout the evening. New this year will be several games of chance and skill. A traditional German fest competition, the Hammerslagen, will also be held. Participants try their hand at driving a nail into a tree trunk using a limited number of strikes. All proceeds benefit the nonprofit Brothers of Mercy Campus Foundation.

Presale admission tickets are $20 each and include food and admission. Admission tickets sold at the event will be $25 each. Admission only (no food) tickets will also be available for $10 each.
