Archers on bicycle path advised by police

Saturday, Aug. 21

• Disorderly youths were reported throwing things at cars on Shimerville Road. They were gone when patrol arrived.

• A Clarence woman was charged with driving a car with a suspended registration when she was stopped on Main Street. She was released on appearance tickets, and the car was towed.

• A disturbance was reported on Clarence Center Road. All parties were advised.

• Erratic operation was reported on Main Street. The car could not be located.

• A 911 hang-up call was investigated on Coventry Green Circle. A child was playing with the telephone.

Sunday, Aug. 22

• A property damage accident was reported on Brookfield Lane. A parked car was struck.

• An alarm was reported on Main Street. It was accidental by the cleaning crew.

• Disorderly youths were reported on Stage Road. They were gone when patrol arrived.

• Disorderly youths were reported with bows and arrows on the bike path near Shamrock Lane. They were advised.

Monday, Aug. 23

• A larceny was reported on Main Street. The thief allegedly used a quick change scam.

• Illegal parking was reported on Transit Road. The car left before patrol arrived.

• An alarm was reported at a Main Street business. It was accidental by an employee.

• Child abuse was reported outside a Transit Road business, but the report was unfounded.

• A disturbance was reported at a Transit Road store. All parties were advised.

Tuesday, Aug. 24

• Criminal mischief was reported on Ashwood Court. A bicycle was damaged.

• A larceny was reported on Miles Road. Garden tools were taken.

• An unwelcome guest was reported at a Transit Road business. The subject left when patrol was called.

• A Clarence teenager was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana when he was stopped on Spaulding Drive. He was released to his mother on an appearance ticket.

Wednesday, Aug. 25

• Employee theft was reported at a Transit Road store. A Depew woman was charged with petit larceny and possession of stolen property. She was released on appearance tickets.

• A property damage accident was reported on Main Street. Two cars were involved.

Thursday, Aug. 26

• A disorderly person was reported at a Transit Road business. He was advised and sent on his way.

• Disorderly youths were reported on the bike path near Goodrich Road, but the report was unfounded.

• An alarm was reported on Goodrich Road. It was accidental by a relative.

• First aid responded to a Main Street apartment.

• Trespassing was reported at a Transit Road business. The subject was advised.

Friday, Aug. 27

• An alarm was reported on Main Street. Everything appeared secure.

• Illegal parking was reported on Clarence Center Road. The vehicles were moved.
