Marvin Martians zap Ben Tens, 8-0

The Marvin Martians battled the Ben Tens and kept their perfect record intact after posting an 8-0 victory in their recent Clarence House Soccer Division IV clash.

Joey Fronczak led the team offensively with five goals, while Nathan Casarsa chipped in with a pair of goals. Siobhan Ryan also played a tough game and scored the final goal in the fourth quarter.

Becka Seefried hustled in net to help the team secure the shutout.

Transformers 3, Bugs Bunnies 1

The Transformers used a total team effort to get past the Bugs Bunnies, 3-1. Max Schneider started out strong with the first goal, and Emily Geiger scored the team’s final two goals. Other players making strong offensive efforts included David Opong, Ella Rivet, and Isabelle and Nathan Isaacs.

Tom and Jerry’s 9, Rugrats 1

The Tom & Jerry’s beat the Rugrats, 9-1, in a game that was closer than the score would indicate. Delanie Daigler started the scoring for the Tom & Jerry’s and went on to add three more goals, while Nate Hudi contributed two goals. Sarah Hudi also chipped in with two goals, while Sam Durwald scored with an assist from Sarah Hudi.

Betsy Brennan was strong on offense, while Madison Senay and Jordan helped keep the Rugrats in check.

Tom and Jerry’s 9, Pluto 3

Nate Hudi started the scoring for the Tom & Jerry’s with an assist by Roman Barnhardt, while Barnhardt had two more assists and Hudi, two more goals in their team’s 9-3 win over Pluto.

Ben Jennings scored his first two goals of the season, while Sam Durwald scored off a pass from Sarah Hudi. Delanie Daigler had three goals, while Madison Senay and Betsy Brennan helped keep the pressure on Pluto both on offense and defense.

Transformers 5, Looney Toons 5

Emily Geiger led the scoring with three goals as the Transformers posted a 5-5 tie with the Looney Toons. Other goals and assists were recorded by David Opong, Amanda Geiger, Ella Rivet and Nathan Isaacs. Ella Rivet was strong in goal.

Looney Toons 2, Ninja Turtles 2

The Looney Toons and the Ninja Turtles played a great game against each other, which led to a 2-2 tie. Max Bartel and Hunter Makosky scored the two goals for the Looney Toons, while Makosky also played as goalie in the first half of the game. Clayton Wallrich did a great job defending the goal in the second half.
