Public hearings being held to consider NFTA route reductions
The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority is considering eliminating or reducing a number of its Metro routes.
Among the proposed service reductions are Saturday and Sunday service between University Station and Eastern Hills Mall, as well as weekday service between downtown Buffalo and Eastern Hills Mall.
The following public hearings on the issue are planned:
6 p.m. Jan. 30 — Erie Community College North Campus, 6205 Main St., Amherst, Bldg. B, Bretschger Hall, Room 401.
6 p.m. Jan. 31 — Niagara Falls City Hall Chambers, 745 Main St., Niagara Falls.
Noon and 6 p.m. Feb. 1 — Central Library auditorium, 1 Lafayette Square, Buffalo.
6 p.m. Feb. 2 — ECC South Campus Building 5, cafeteria, 4041 Southwestern Blvd., Orchard Park.

All comments must be received by Feb. 2.
