I would like to publicly thank the Town of Clarence Parks Department for its help installing and removing the first-ever Christmas tree in the Hollow — but not the last.

A special thanks goes to (Parks Department) Superintendent Jim Burkard for helping me select the perfect tree and to Bob Linde for overseeing the installation and removal. Without Bob and the crew, I know my grandson, Matthew Milone, could have never accomplished all that he did for our first Holiday in the Hollow. Thanks again.
