Story Time Programs

Toddler Time, for ages 2 and 3, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Mondays, Feb. 6, 13 and 27. Registration started Jan. 30. A caregiver must remain with the child during the program.

Preschool Story Time, for ages 3 to 5, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays, Feb. 7, 14, 21 and 28. Registration started Jan. 31. A caregiver must remain in the library during the program.

Wee Read Story Time, for ages 6 to 24 months, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays, Feb. 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29. Registration for the second session starts Feb. 1. A caregiver must remain with the child during the program.

Toddler Series

A new series for toddlers ages 2 to 3 will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10. Visitors from the Children’s Programming Team at the Central Library will present a six-week Toddler Time program. Winter session dates are Feb. 10, 17 and 24 and March 2, 9 and 16. A parent or guardian must remain with their child. Registration for the winter series begins Feb. 3.

Library Craft Time

The free February Library Craft Time presented by the Clarence Youth Volunteer Program is set for 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14. No registration is necessary. Children ages 5 to 12 are welcome to come to the Clarence Library to participate in making with youth volunteers. Parents are required to stay in the library. Bookmarks

The Clarence Library “Bookmarks,” a monthly book discussion group, has slated its next meeting for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14. “The Sisters” by Nancy Jensen will be discussed. Anyone is welcome to join.

Lego Club

The Lego Club will continue its monthly meetings at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21. The program is open to children between 5 and 12 years old. Space is limited. Registration begins Feb. 7.

Tax Service

The Clarence Free Tax Service will be offered again this year starting Feb. 1. Assistance will be offered from noon to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday each week through April 14. Trained tax aide volunteers will provide tax preparation assistance. The program is sponsored by AARP and the Internal Revenue Service and is open to anyone needing assistance in filing their tax return.
