Woman ‘creates a scene’ when belongings are thrown

Saturday, Jan. 21

Patrol responded to a report of underage drinking on Sawmill Road. An 18-year-old male was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor.

A resident of Goodrich Road reported that someone drove through his lawn overnight, damaging a tree.

Two males were reportedly fighting at the intersection of Hedgewood and Ericson drives. The males got into a vehicle and left before police arrived.

Sunday, Jan. 22

The owner of a Main Street business reported that a vehicle had struck a portable lighted sign at his business sometime overnight.

A 30-year-old male from Lockport was arrested following a traffic stop on Boncrest Drive. A check of the man’s driving record showed eight current suspensions on his license. He was charges with aggravated operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree. A female passenger who was the owner of the vehicle was charged with facilitating aggravated operation of a vehicle.

Monday, Jan. 23

A resident of Brauer Road reported that he had interrupted a male who was going through his vehicle during the early morning hours. A 36-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after a search of the surrounding area. He was charged with petit larceny, trespass, criminal possession of stolen property and aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle. He was transported to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment.

A resident of Brauer Road reported hearing shots fired. Patrol checked the area.

A vehicle fire was reported on Ericson Drive. Only minor damage was reported.

A man shoplifted tools from Home Depot on Transit Road. Store security was able to obtain a license number of the vehicle in which the offender left. The incident is under investigation by Erie County sheriff’s detectives.

Tuesday, Jan. 24

An intoxicated male reported that he had been harassed by a male and female at an address in Amherst.

Deputies responded to a report of an unruly female at the Staybridge Suites on Sheridan Drive. Staff reported that a male had thrown a female’s belongings on the floor and that she was creating a scene. The subjects left in an unknown vehicle.

Wednesday, Jan. 25

Deputies responded to J.C. Penney for a report of two 17-year-olds who were detained for shoplifting. Both subjects were charged with petit larceny and were turned over to their parents.

A burglar alarm was reported at Advanced Auto on Transit Road. Patrol checked the building and found everything to be in order.

Thursday, Jan. 26

A 911 hang-up call was reported on Lexington Court. The resident stated that she was trying to call a cellphone that started with 913.

A disturbance was reported at a residence on Transit Road. Two intoxicated males were arguing over money. Both subjects were advised.

A disturbance was reported on Glenwood Drive. A 34-year-old male was arrested for assault in the third degree, harassment in the second degree, criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child. He was transported to the Holding Center.

Friday, Jan. 27

A resident of Mallard Roost reported that he had a large amount of water in his basement because the pipes broke. The fire department was notified.

A suspicious vehicle was reported on Glenwood Drive. It was an elderly person unfamiliar with the area who was looking for an address.
