Man gets stomachache from lemon extract

Saturday, Jan. 5

Deputies responded to a hair salon on Transit Road on the report of a stolen wallet. A female stated that she left her wallet with her coat and returned to find that it had been taken.

A white sedan fled the scene following a two-car accident on Goodrich Road. The responding deputies located the vehicle at Oak Lane. The 29-year-old male who fled the scene was arrested for felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and felony driving while intoxicated. The man was also ticketed for leaving the scene of an accident, driving a vehicle without an alcohol interlock device and moving from a lane unsafely. He was transported to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment.

Sunday, Jan. 6

A shoplifting incident was reported at an electronics store on Transit Road. Two males reportedly left the store with iPhone covers worth approximately $100.

A 20-year-old male from Newfane was arrested and charged with petit larceny following a shoplifting incident at Walmart. The man was transported to the Holding Center.

A 911 hang-up call was reported at a residence on County Road. It was accidental by the homeowner.

Monday, Jan. 7

Deputies responded to an office on Main Street for a report of a burglary. A laptop computer and cash were reportedly stolen. The incident is under investigation.

An order of protection was served at a residence on Wolcott Road.

An employee of Screen Sports Lounge reported that her ex-boyfriend was harassing her on Facebook. The male was advised to cease contact with the female.

A burglary was reported at an office on Main Street. The office had been ransacked, and cash was missing.

Tuesday, Jan. 8

A 911 hang-up call was reported at Mercedes-Benz of Buffalo. It was a misdial by an employee.

A suspicious person was reported on East Overlook Drive. Patrol checked the area. The caller has a history of seeing things.

Wednesday, Jan. 9

• Deputies assisted the New York State Tax Department in seizing a vehicle on Hunting Valley Road.

A burglar alarm was reported on Haley Court. It was set off by the homeowner.

A female called from Galbraith Road reporting that she was being harassed by her ex-husband. The man was advised.

Thursday, Jan. 10

A suspicious incident was reported on Greiner Road. The caller stated that someone was trying to get into her vehicle. The offender left in an unknown direction.

Deputies transported an intoxicated male to Erie County Medical Center. The male had been drinking lemon extract and was unable to care for himself.

Friday, Jan. 11

A 51-year-old female from Buffalo was charged with shoplifting at a department store on Transit Road. She was released on an appearance ticket pending arraignment.

A 27-year-old male was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Shisler Road.

Deputies responded to Salt Road on the report of a disturbance. An intoxicated female was causing a problem. An incident report was completed, and the female went to a friend’s house for the night.
