Pool a great place for all residents

This summer, the town pool has been a wonderful place to be. Thank you to the Town of Clarence, the town Parks and Recreation departments and all of the lifeguards who work so diligently to make us feel welcome and keep us safe. It is amazing to see people of all ages enjoying the pool. The water is warm and crystal clear, which allows for great swimming, exercise and fun for all.

While attending the morning water aerobics class, we have observed the attentiveness of the lifeguards, under the direction of Chris Durr, who gives the children swimming lessons. We are amazed at the dedication, knowledge, patience, gentleness and caring attitude the lifeguards have in ensuring that all of the children learn how to swim and help them overcome their fear of water. We are so fortunate to have lifeguards who spend so much extra time and effort to ensure that the children learn how to swim and understand water safety.

The pool is equipped to provide access to people with special needs so that everyone can participate in summer swimming activities. Again, the lifeguards are very attentive to all swimmers and especially to those who are older, as they are very alert at all times for the safety of everyone.

Thank you to the Town of Clarence, Clarence Parks and Recreation departments and the entire staff for their dedication and work.
