Clarence KidBiz Market

The Clarence Youth Board invites youth in grades two through eight to participate in its first-ever KidBiz Market from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, at the Clarence Summer Street Festival. KidBiz is a small-scale entrepreneurial and educational program providing an excellent opportunity for children to engage in a real-life business experience. A $3 fee per participant is required. A registration form may be obtained by calling the Youth Bureau at 407-2162 or emailing youthbureau@ clarence.ny.us.

Why a Dollar?

The Youth Bureau is teaming up with the Clarence Community and Schools Federal Credit Union to offer children in grades three through five a chance to learn all about money in a fun, interactive way. The four-session class will help them to understand why money exists, how it is made and more importantly, fun ways to save it. Through money adventures, kids will act, draw, create and find different ways to enjoy money and have an appreciation for it. The classes will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Aug. 15, 17, 22 and 24 at the Youth Bureau. The cost is $5 per participant. Call the Youth Bureau at 407-2162.
