Between the two years at New York Life Insurance and more than eight years working as the assistant vice president for M&T Securities, Lougen has developed her financial experience in Western New York.

Lougen currently works as a financial adviser for Monarch Wealth Management, where she has been for almost one year. Lougen helps educate individuals as well as business owners on how to create a solid financial plan.

“I developed relationships with financial professionals, so therefore both jobs prepared me for this opportunity with Monarch Wealth Management,” Lougen said.

Lougen graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Management in 2007 and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree in finance at Canisius College. She expects to receive the degree in May.

“I discovered that there are many people who don’t understand their insurance and investment needs,” Lougen said. “So it is very important to sit down and educate on their current plan, figure out personal goals and then implement a custom strategy that works for that individual.”

Monarch Wealth Management has offices in Buffalo, Williamsville, Brockport and Rochester with an array of financial services. Lougen works primarily with retirement planning, life insurance and estate planning, but is capable of assisting with other financial services for her clients.

“I believe that relationship building is very important not only with the clients but with other professionals,” Lougen said. “Each client has a different need, and I’m here to help with whatever that may be.”

Monarch Wealth Management, at 338 Harris Hill Road, Suite 108, is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. To learn more, visit www.monarchwealthmanagement.com or call 250-2888.
