BPO plans benefit concert for Food Bank

The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra will present a benefit concert for the Food Bank of Western New York at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, at Kleinhans Music Hall, 1 Symphony Circle, Buffalo. Special guests Lance Diamond, Taylor Made Jazz and the Old School B-Boys will perform with the BPO.

The Buffalo Music Hall of Fame has organized the concert, which will feature more musical genres than the BPO has ever performed at a single concert, including soul, barbershop, classical, jazz, Motown, and rhythm and blues.

Tickets to the concert are $25. Corporate sponsorships are available, including “Angel” sponsorships, which will provide tickets to those who are unable to afford them on their own.

For ticket information and purchase, contact the BPO box office at 885-5000. For Angel sponsorships, contact Van Taylor at 855-1754. For all other corporate sponsorships, contact Buffalo Music Hall of Fame President Rick Mathews at 400-8934.
