Free exhibit booth space offered at Enviro-Fair

The sixth annual Buffalo Enviro-Fair will celebrate Earth Day with booths from area eco-organizations in front of Buffalo City Hall on Friday, April 20, with the traditional offer to not-for-profits to exhibit at no charge. The not-for-profits at the event are supported in part by environmentally aware business sponsors, who are also sought for this event. The first Enviro-Fair was held in 2007 at the University at Buffalo and has been held every year since at Niagara Square. BNI Signature schedules speaker series

BNI Signature, a Western New York business referral organization, will host the latest edition in its weekly speaker series from 6:45 to 8:30 a.m. Thursday, April 19, at the K of C Banquet Facility, 2735 Union Road, Cheektowaga. The guest speaker will be Harry King, the BNI director and managing partner of Benjamin Andrews and King. BNI Signature has also scheduled Harris Witkin of Tabor Witkin and Associates to speak on April 26 at the K of C Banquet Facility. ECC One Stop to host first youth job fair

The Buffalo and Erie County Workforce Development Consortium will hold a youth job fair from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 19, in the ECC One Stop Training and Employment Center, 3176 Abbott Road, Orchard Park. To qualify for attendance, companies must have jobs available. Hiring employers will be on site to meet with young job candidates from all over Western New York.
