$3,000 in music equipment stolen from vehicle

Saturday, March 21

• A man filled a shopping bag with clothing at the Bon-Ton and left the store without paying. He fled the store in a stolen vehicle. The incident is under investigation.

• A resident of Fairbrook Court reported that a suspicious woman was on his property. She was a process server and was trying to serve a summons.

Sunday, March 22

• A 25-year-old man is facing multiple charges following a traffic stop on Transit Road. The man was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating without insurance, operating an unregistered and uninspected vehicle and obstructing governmental administration. He was transported to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment.

Monday, March 23

• A 26-year-old man was arrested by detectives from the Sheriff’s Office. The man had allegedly stolen approximately $280 of merchandise from the Bon-Ton at Eastern Hills Mall. He was charged while being held at the Holding Center on an unrelated incident.

• A 19-year-old man from Clarence was charged with petit larceny after he purchased a small item at Macy’s and then allegedly filled the bag with clothing before leaving the store. The man turned himself over to detectives and was released on an appearance ticket.

Wednesday, March 25

• A resident of Kippen Drive reported that someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stole approximately $3,000 in musical equipment.

• A resident of Oak Leaf Lane reported that someone had entered his unlocked vehicle and taken $100 in cash and change.

• A 62-year-old woman was charged with harassment after she allegedly struck a man during an argument. She was released on an appearance ticket pending arraignment.

Thursday, March 26

• Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office charged two females, ages 16 and 18, with petit larceny for allegedly stealing $500 of merchandise from Victoria’s Secret. The women were being held in connection with another theft on March 25.

• A 35-year-old man was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree following a traffic stop on Transit Road. He was also ticketed for an equipment violation.

Friday, March 27

• A 21-year-old man was arrested on a bench warrant out of Clarence Town Court. The man was remanded to the Holding Center.

• A 51-year-old man was charged with petit larceny after he was detained at Walmart for allegedly stealing $400 in merchandise. He was transported to the Holding Center on $500 bail.
