Bee Heard

.I’m so glad my kids are no longer in school, but I pray for my grandkids and great-grandkids. With the new transgender policy, I would for sure be home-schooling them. I would not want my little daughter to have to share a bathroom or a locker room with a boy who thinks he’d rather be a girl. These kids are in elementary school, about 4 to 11 years old. What are we doing to our kids? There should be two separate bathrooms. Why are we making something so easy into something so complex when it will affect a very, very, very small portion of the school?

.Thank you, Christmas light people on County Road. My father-in-law died two days ago. Last night, as I drove down the street, your lights were a beacon of love and peace for me. They gave my heart a well-needed rest. Your neighbors may think you’re crazy; who cares? Your lights took a part in helping rest my soul. That may sound crazy, but you never know how your simple displays could affect someone else. Please keep them on; maybe add a few red ones for Valentine’s Day. Thank you from your down-the-street neighbor, Greg.
