Man with 14 suspensions arrested on Thompson Road

Saturday, Nov. 26

Deputies responded to a disturbance on Bickert Terrace. An allegedly intoxicated woman was arguing with family members. She was transported to the hospital for treatment of alcohol-related issues.

Deputies responded to a disturbance involving an unwanted person at an address on Sheridan Drive. A disorderly woman left after being advised by patrol.

Sunday, Nov. 27

Detectives from the Erie County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a woman who stole multiple winter coats from the Bon-Ton on two separate dates. The woman reportedly fled in an older model green sedan.

Deputies responded to a disturbance on Clarence Center Road. Two teenagers were arguing. There were no charges.

Monday, Nov. 28

• A 54-year-old man was arrested by sheriff’s deputies. The man has allegedly been harassing a Clarence resident via text and phone messages. He is facing multiple counts of criminal contempt and stalking and was remanded to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment.

A 42-year-old man was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree following a traffic stop on County Road. His license had been revoked for operating a vehicle without insurance in 2015.

Deputies stopped a vehicle on Transit Road for a lighting violation. A 47-year-old man was charged with driving while intoxicated after he reportedly failed roadside sobriety tests. He submitted to a breath test, which showed an alleged blood alcohol level of 0.10 percent.

Tuesday, Nov. 29

Deputies stopped a vehicle on Wehrle Drive for a lighting infraction. A 26-year-old man was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree for driving with a suspended license.

A vehicle was stopped on Thompson Road after deputies witnessed it swerve over the center line on Roll Road. A 32-year-old man was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the second degree. He had 14 open suspensions and revocations on his driving record.

Wednesday, Nov. 30

A caller wanted patrol to check on the welfare of a family member at an address on Greiner Road. Patrol made contact with the subject, and she was fine.

A resident of Bonnie Fay Drive reported that someone was banging on her back door. Patrol checked the area. Nobody was found.

Thursday, Dec. 1

• A 24-year-old man was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance and driving a vehicle with a suspended registration after being stopped on Salt Road in Clarence. He was released on traffic tickets pending arraignment.

A 16-year-old girl was charged with petit larceny after she was detained for allegedly shoplifting at Eastern Hills Mall.

Friday, Dec. 2

Deputies were called to an unspecified altercation at Bison Billiards on Main Street. A 28-year-old woman was detained by deputies. She was turned over to City of Tonawanda police on an outstanding warrant for narcotics charges.

A resident of Bridlewood Drive reported an e-mail that said his PayPal account had been hacked. It was a scam.
