Woman unconscious at wheel in parking lot

Saturday, July 22

Deputies stopped a vehicle in the area of Goodrich Road and County roads for speeding. A 21-year-old woman was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree. Her license had been revoked for an alcohol related conviction.

An 18-year-old man was charged with reckless driving and unlawfully fleeing a police officer. A deputy saw a motorcycle on Stage Road in Clarence, and the motorcycle was traveling at 94 mph. Police stopped the vehicle near North Millgrove Road. The driver was remanded to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment.

Sunday, July 23

A 34-year-old woman was charged with petit larceny for allegedly taking money from the cash register during her work shift at Niagara County Produce. She was also charged with a controlled substance charge.

Monday, July 24

A 42-year-old man was arrested on a warrant from Clarence Town Court. He had reportedly stolen items from Walmart in February of this year. The man was remanded to the Holding Center on petit larceny charges.

Deputies stopped a vehicle on Main Street for failing to keep right and for making an unsafe lane change. A 67-year-old man failed sobriety tests and was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated. He submitted to a breath test which allegedly showed a blood alcohol level of 0.11 percent.

Tuesday, July 25

A 43-year-old woman was apprehended on a bench warrant out of Amherst Town Court. She was turned over to Amherst police.

Deputies were called to Slat Road for a report of two neighbors who were shouting at one another. Both subjects were advised.

Wednesday, July 26

A 54-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant for driving while intoxicated charges. She was remanded to the Holding Center.

A resident of Circle Court reported that someone had cut the screens in two of the windows of the house. None of the neighbors had seen anyone around.

Thursday, July 27

Deputies were called to Walgreens parking lot on Transit Road for a report of a woman who was passed out at the wheel of a running vehicle. A 46-year-old woman was charged with driving while impaired by drugs.

Friday. July 28

A 32-year-old woman was charged with felony driving while intoxicated and felony aggravated driving while intoxicated following a two-vehicle accident in the area of County and Transit roads. She was also ticketed for failing to yield the right of way at a green light.
