Contemporary Club sets meeting date

The Clarence Contemporary Club will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at Orazio’s Restaurant, 9415 Main St., Clarence. A meeting and luncheon will be followed by a presentation by Joel Dombrowski, who will speak about the daredevils of Niagara Falls. Donations of clothing, shoes, housewares, office supplies and gloves will be collected for the “Response to Love Center.” For more information, call 741-9329.

Brothers of Mercy set as ‘Toys for Tots’ drop-off

The Brothers of Mercy Senior Apartments, at 10500 Bergtold Road, Clarence, will serve as a Toys for Tots collection site between Nov. 1 and Dec. 13. New, unwrapped toys will be collected for distribution. Donated toys may be placed in the box in the entry to the apartments. The doors will be open between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day. Harris Hill UMC to hold craft show

Harris Hill United Methodist Church, at 8495 Main St., Clarence, will hold its annual craft show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2. Craft tables are available at a cost of $30. Contact the church office at 632-4688 or hhumc@roadrunner.com for more information.

United Methodist to host two services

The Clarence Center United Methodist Church, 9750 Clarence Center Road, will hold a special Veterans Day service at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11. The church will also hold a Thanksgiving service at 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 23.
