The Clarence Senior Center is located at 4600 Thompson Road. Contact the center at 633-5138 to sign up for activities. When registering for free activities and programs, you can call the office or email your name, phone number and desired event(s) to signup@clarenceseniorcenter.org.

NYS EPIC Program Informational Seminar

10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8 — The Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage program is a New York State program for seniors administered by the Department of Health. It helps more than 280,000 income-eligible seniors aged 65 and older to supplement their out-of-pocket Medicare Part D drug plan costs. NYS EPIC Outreach Representative Gabrielle Dotterweich will be here to provide information about this program and answer questions. Call 633-5138 to register.

Mardi Gras Luncheon

11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13— Mardi Gras, also known as Fat Tuesday, is a festive celebration marking the last days before Lent begins. Entertainment provided by the Tin Roof Jazz Band will begin at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. The suggested donation for lunch is $3. Call 633-5138 to register.

Pot O’ Gold Crazy Cash

Depart at 9:30 a.m., return at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 20 — Enjoy a day of Irish fun, games, food and beverages at the Fireside Manor in Dunkirk, New York. Brush up on your history of Ireland. The more you know, the more “crazy cash” you’ll win for the Pot O’ Gold Auction. Corned beef and cabbage or Irish chicken lunch is included. Brochures with more information are available at the CSC. Sign up in the office with a check made payable to “Maxima Tours.” The cost of this trip is $79.
