Asa Ransom House sets concert date

The Asa Ransom House, located at 10529 Main St., will offer a free concert from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16. The Roadrunners Band will play mostly oldies rock ’n’ roll.

Pilates classes offered weekly

Pilates classes are offered each Monday at 10 a.m. at the Clarence Hollow Wellness Center, 10946 Main St., Clarence. They are also offered at 9 a.m. each Tuesday at Karyn Kelly Dance, 4223 Transit Road, Williamsville. The cost for each class is $8. Call 866-3735 for more information.

Charity concert series sets date

The Vision Possible Charity Concert Series, supporting the American Cancer Society, will offer a classical music concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, at the Clarence Presbyterian Church, 9675 Main St. Bring any monetary donation as admission to the concert. The suggested donation is $15.

Harris Hill UMC plans Vacation Bible School

Harris Hill United Methodist Church, located, at 8495 Main St., will host a one-day Vacation Bible School titled “Hula Hoot Luau” from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16. The event is designed for children ages 4 to 12. For information, email hhumc@roadrunner.com or call 632-4688.

HS Golf Boosters to hold car wash

The Clarence High School Golf Boosters Club for the varsity girls and boys golf teams will hold a fundraising car wash from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at Valu Home Center, 5433 Transit Road, Williamsville. The event will raise money for the purchase of new team training equipment.
